BE A ROLE MODEL AND HELP

change lives

Drive change

Scouting is about fostering personal growth and this journey is built on an engaging youth program that is tailored to individuals.

Each step in a young person’s journey has new adventures and challenges that are built on the skills and knowledge from the previous section.

The experience is adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive, with connections to the outdoors, opportunities to learn new skills, building friendships and helping create a better world.

REAL WORLD

learnings

Learn new skills

No previous experience – no problem, we provide all the training and there are opportunities for you to be supported with further training and qualifications in specific interest areas.

Get outdoors

Step outside and be part of the larger outdoors community. The outdoors is the primary setting for learning in Scouts and it encourages a natural sense of curiosity in young people. You will build positive physical and mental health and activities may focus on outdoor adventure or the environment.

Improve your physical and mental wellbeing

Engaging in volunteer work with Scouts has been shown to reduce stress, combat depression and provide a sense of purpose. You will have the opportunity to foster new social connections and have a sense of belonging within your community. Volunteering makes us healthier and happier!
